  • Advised one of Malaysia’s largest port operators on the acquisition of key technology used in their ports.
  • Advised the subsidiary of the Malaysian financial services regulator in implementing the technological infrastructure of the financial processing exchange.
  • Advised a large Malaysian technology services provider in the accrual accounting transformation project with the Government of Malaysia.
  • Acted as legal counsel for a major Malaysian bank in relation to its implementation of one of the world’s largest information technology transformation programmes involving multiple systems and various service providers. 
  • Acted for a British multinational telecommunications service provider in relation to the Malaysian regulatory framework applicable to voice over IP (VoIP).
  • Advised a Malaysian mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) in relation to the Malaysian regulatory framework applicable to their services.
  • Advised a subsidiary of the Malaysian sovereign wealth fund on the provision of an urban development platform to an agency under the United Nations.
  • Advised a city solutions provider on the provision of technology and equipment to a state multimedia authority as part of its public safety system.
  • Advised a city solutions provider on the provision of smart city technology to a major city’s local government.
  • Advised a logistics software provider on the white-label licensing and development of its proprietary software to a national postal service operator.
  • Advised the world’s largest American software company in relation to the introduction of a payment systems and digital currency for use in Malaysia under the Financial Services Act 2013.
  • Advised a Malaysian card issuer on Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) compliance and its subscription of cloud services.
